Leadership isn’t easy
especially going in to a new school that you have little knowledge about. Our
school is getting a new principal this year and with that comes change. This article stood out to me this week because of the change we are about to undergo. The

I read this article too and I really liked it. I especially believe in #4 and #5. Leading morally will lead to faithful followers. Demonstrate courage and compromise is also so vital to a successful leader. Swim upstream and buck the norm is critical to taking your "team" across the finish line of success. I served 12 years as an Army officer and I feel I tried to follow the 6 steps outlined in this article.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same boat at our school. We are getting two new assistant principals and a new superintendent. This article really hit home for me as well. Huge changes are in our future, hopefully for the better.
